Hi, I’m Jay Kwon. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised here in Seattle, where I still call home. My path to videography hasn’t been traditional — I spent years in tech sales, where I learned the value of listening, connecting, and understanding people. In 2023, I felt the pull to pursue what I’d always wanted to do and made the leap into videography, combining those skills with my passion for visual storytelling, while also embracing life as a stay-at-home dad and serving in ministry.
 

Family shapes everything I do — I’m married to my best friend, and together we’re raising two (fierce) little girls who inspire me every day. I also serve as the Young Adults Ministry Director at Kalos Church, where I’ve grown a deep passion for leading in such a formative stage of life.
 

To me, videography isn’t just about recording moments. It’s about capturing the emotion within them — the joy of a wedding, the energy of an event, the personality of a brand, or the power of a testimony. Every project is a chance to tell a story that feels authentic and lasting.
